Justice Garden

JUSTICE GARDEN DEDICATION–RSVP TODAY!

The Temple Shalom Justice Garden is well underway, and we want you to be part of it!  Join us for our Big Build month in November.  You can be part of moving a mountain of wood chips, measuring and placing garden beds, filling beds with compost, and maybe even planting.  This is a fun and meaningful project, and there’s a place for everyone to take part.  We have a variety of work days and times, and a whole week of flexible time slots around Thanksgiving Week.  This is a great chance for families to work together and for teens to earn service hours.  Volunteers of all ages are welcome and no gardening experience is needed, so bring a friend or the whole family.  We really want to finish this garden by November 30. Sign up and join us by clicking the pumpkin picture – we need you and we want you to be part of the Justice Garden community.

Temple members are invited to help us create our Justice Garden! Contact Gretchen Reynolds at garden@templeshalomdallas.org for further information! Check our calendar, social media (Facebook page and Instagram) and newsletters for our weekly gardening activities!

JOIN US AS WE BUILD OUR JUSTICE GARDEN!

You may have noticed the plastic on the grounds east of the Temple building, and now a mountain of wood chips. We are building a 58 bed garden.
Be a part of the garden this Sunday and every Sunday & Tuesday, and you will be able to say, “I fed the hungry”. All ages and abilities welcome.
