Temple Shalom Tots Academy meets once a month on Sunday mornings during Religious School. Families with children (2-4 years old) and their parents are encouraged to sign up for this parent-child interactive class. Families MUST register in advance. Register for our Munchkin Music class, select Sundays at 10:00am.
Tots Academy Teacher: Julia Geffen Rogers
Julia was born and raised in the Dallas area. She and her husband, Brooks, have two children, Lilith and Naomi. They also have eight pets! Julia has spent the majority of her career in early childhood education, either as an early childhood music teacher or in the classroom, primarily in Jewish education. She is also a board-certified music therapist. Most of her clinical experience has been with children diagnosed with autism, and adults receiving hospice care.
Julia loves working with our youngest learners and getting to know their families. Her goal for Tots Academy is to introduce our children and families to Jewish holidays and tradition through hands on, multi-sensory experiences. Of course, there will be music making too! Come join us!
