Melton Classes in Temple Shalom
Temple Shalom is proud to partner with the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning, a globally respected program known for bringing high-quality, text-based Jewish learning to communities around the world. Together, we are launching the Temple Shalom Melton Community, creating new opportunities for meaningful adult education right here in Dallas.
Our first offering, Jewish Answers to Life’s Most Challenging Questions, is a six-part course taught by Deborah Niederman, RJE, exploring some of life’s biggest questions – Why do good people suffer? Is everything pre-ordained? Can we expect miracles? Rooted in rabbinic wisdom and modern thought, this course invites open conversation, reflection, and personal connection. This is just the beginning, with plans to offer two to three Melton courses each year, building a vibrant and ongoing learning community.
