2026-2027 Calendar

Program Calendar & Continuity of Care

We understand that calendar disruptions can be challenging for families, and we have worked intentionally to limit the number of days the school is fully closed while also providing meaningful options for continued care whenever possible.

There are a small number of days each year when the Early Childhood Center is closed and no alternative programming is offered, including major federal and Jewish holidays and essential staff preparation days.

  • Our full-closure days include limited holidays such as Labor Day, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s Eve and Day, Passover, and Memorial Day, as well as two staff preparation days prior to the opening of school.

On several additional school-closure days, we offer School’s Out Programming, designed to provide continuity of care in a familiar environment for families who need it.

  • School’s Out Programming is available as a package or on a daily basis, allowing families flexibility based on their needs. This year’s dates are: Dec. 21-23; Dec. 28-30; Jan. 4-5, Mar. 15-19 (13 total days)
  • Our goal is to balance a thoughtful, values-aligned calendar with the practical realities families face – and to communicate clearly and early so families can plan with confidence.
