Camp Shalom: School’s Out Childcare Program

This fall, many of you shared that childcare on school closure days is a real challenge. We’re excited to introduce Camp Shalom, a new School’s Out program at Temple Shalom filled with friendship, creativity, and joyful Jewish experiences.

Jewish School’s Out Days at Temple Shalom
When school is closed, Camp Shalom is open!
Camp Shalom is a new School’s Out program designed especially for elementary school families who need reliable, engaging child care on school closure days. Held right here at Temple Shalom, each camp day offers a joyful blend of play, creativity, friendship, and hands-on Jewish experiences.
Children will explore Jewish values and seasonal themes through activities like garden adventures, art projects, holiday-inspired cooking and crafts, games, and time outdoors.
8:30am-4:30pm
$95 per Temple Shalom member child per day
$105 per Community member child per day
$10/discount per family for two or more siblings enrolled.
Register for 10 days, get one day free per registered child.
Early Bird Registration Discount by 7/15-Save $5/child per day!
Extended care: Early from 7:45am, Late until 5:45pm (no sibling discount, same rate for Temple Shalom & Community members)
$5/child for each early or late extended session
Reservations will be taken until 2 weeks before each date.
Families must notify us within 48 hours of the date if they are unable to attend and want a refund or to switch their date.
Please note that these dates are contingent upon having at least 8 participants each day.
