Isn’t It Time You Made A Connection?
The Connections Council assists Temple Shalom members in making connections. Under its umbrella are the Young Adults Connections, Young Families, Super Senior, College Connections, Holiday Celebrations, Davening & Dining and other committees like the ones below that make Temple Shalom a warm, friendly place! If you are interested in becoming a part of this council, please contact Council Chair Kimberly Kort at firstname.lastname@example.org. Whether you have a lot of time or just a little or whether you’ve been a Temple Shalom member or decades or just days, we have a spot for you!
The Membership Committee works closely with prospective members to introduce them to all facets of Temple Shalom and the Dallas Jewish community, should they be new to our city. We also welcome new members and help them get connected to Temple in a way that is meaningful to them. It heats up right before the High Holy Days and the start of religious school, but has year-round volunteer opportunities as we help new members become involved in Temple life. Membership events included the August 21st Prospective Member Brunch, and our New Member Service on August 19th this year. Being a part of the Membership Committee is a great way to share your knowledge and love of, and experiences at, Temple Shalom. Contact Chair Richard Kahn at email@example.com.
LGBTQ PRIDE COMMITTEE
Temple Shalom LGBTQ Pride is a group that provides social and educational opportunities and is open to all members and non-members who are interested in being a part of our community!
