Temple Shalom Sisterhood provides an Oneg, a wine and cheese reception, every Shabbat where Temple members and guests gather and visit with each other before Friday night services.  Sisterhood is always pleased to receive donations for Onegs year round.

For Questions about contributing food: contact Chris Harris at 972-618-0002 or Keo Strull at 972-677-7697.

If you wish to donate wine:  Label the wine "Oneg Wine" and your name; put red wine in the kitchen in the box labeled "Oneg box" just outside the walk-in cooler, put white wine inside the walk in cooler in the box labeled "Oneg box".  Sign the Oneg Wine Log sheet on the walk-in cooler door.  Questions about wine?  Contact Debby Baum at 972-233-1510.

If you wish to write a check:  Send a check made payable to Temple Shalom Sisterhood-Onegs, 6930 Alpha Road, Dallas, TX 75240.

Sponsor or co-sponsor an Oneg: Honor someone special (Bar/Bat Mitzvah, birth, wedding, anniversary, graduation) or celebrate one of the simchas in your life. Please contact Joy Addison at 972-661-1810, x201 in the Temple office.

Sisterhood is looking for help to prepare the food! If you love to be creative in the kitchen, this is for you! Every Friday morning Chris Harris oversees the preparation of the beautiful trays of food that you see on Friday nights. We hope to have enough women commit to helping so each person will work only one day a month. Please e-mail Linda Young at
